Relax on the Mary Washington House porch, sip tea with friends, and discuss the timeless iris...all with a shaded view of the beautiful garden!
We are proud to host speaker Lois Rose, a founding member of the Fredericksburg Chapter of the American Iris Society since 1984. After 28 years of service with the Library of Congress, Lois now tends to over 800 varieties of the iris on her farm.
Guests will be served tea, scones, and sandwiches. More treats to be announced soon!
You will have the opportunity to receive a potted iris descended from the Mary Washington House garden as a thank-you for attending this event.
