Your Membership Supports Our Mission
The support of members enables Washington Heritage Museums to preserve, promote, and maintain our five historic properties in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop, Mary Washington House, Rising Sun Tavern, and the grounds of the Mary Washington Monument are open to visitors throughout the year, allowing them to experience history in the very footsteps of those who made it. St. James' House, which also serves as the WHM headquarters, is open for guided tours for two weeks each year.
NEW BENEFIT! WHM is now affiliated with the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM), a program that connects 500+ participating museums across the US and Canada. Members of the Contributing level or higher will be eligible to visit other ROAM-affiliated museums and receive discounted admission. Additionally, some ROAM museums also offer discounts for special events, gift shops, and restaurants. Visit the ROAM website to view a full list of museums.
