Between 1772-1789, Mary Washington lived at the home with her enslaved workers, including several women and girls. Later, the property would see the tenancy of students and preservationists. Utilizing untapped sources from the Mary Washington House archives, the tour will illuminate the untold stories of the women who called the Mary Washington House home. Hear about the female residents during this unique guided tour conducted by the Mary Washington Manager, Michelle Hamilton.
