Every donation up to a total of $5,000 will be 100% matched by The Pine Knot Fund. This generous fund assist WHM in completing some of these important projects:
- Replacing the HVAC and other mechanical systems at the Caretaker's Lodge.
- Implementing site security measures.
- Professional tree evaluation and pruning by a certified arborist.
- Consultation on slope stabilization, particularly around Meditation Rock and the Eskridge Oak.
- Creating an accessible pathway to the Monument from Hitchcock St.
- Establishing a free museum about Mary Washington and her Monument in the Connecticut Room of the Lodge.
