We invite you to join us for a special Tea Talk on Tuesday, April 7th at The Ironclad Inn, where historian Mark Maloy will delve into the lives and significant contributions of some of the lesser-known Virginians who bravely fought during the Revolutionary War. Discover the stories of these heroes - many of whom came from the Fredericksburg area - including Hugh Mercer, George Weedon, William Washington, William Woodford, and Andrew Leitch.
About our Speaker:
Mark Maloy is the author of two books on the Revolutionary War: Victory or Death: The Battles of Trenton and Princeton and To the Last Extremity: The Battles for Charleston. He holds an undergraduate degree in history from the College of William and Mary and a graduate degree in history from George Mason University. With a career spanning over two decades, Mark has dedicated himself to preserving and interpreting history, working at numerous public history sites and participating in archeological digs. Join us as we honor the legacy of these Revolutionary heroes.
