Renowned Landscape Architect Returns to Fredericksburg for One Day Only

Join us for an unforgettable morning on as Phillip Watson returns to Fredericksburg to inspire us with his unique style and personality. We are fortunate to welcome Phillip back to Fredericksburg where he operated a rare plant nursery for many years. He will share his passion for gardening and design from years of experience and wealth of plant knowledge.

All proceeds will benefit the renovation of the Mary Washington Monument and Caretaker’s Cottage.

Not only is Phillip Watson a world-renowned landscape designer and author, he also continues to share his plant expertise on the QVC network. Phillip is on the garden advisory panel for Stratford Hall and is a frequent judge at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Major exhibits include the Royal Chelsea Flower Show in London, The New England Flower Show and The New York Flower Show. He currently lives and gardens in West Chester, PA

The Lecture Admission Ticket includes a lecture by Phillip Watson to be held at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library Headquarters, 1201 Caroline Street. Because parking at the library is limited, we have secured off-site parking with transportation to and from the library by the Fredericksburg Trolley. Please park at the First Christian Church at 1501 Washington Avenue. The church is across the street from the Mary Washington Monument.

The Garden Lunch with Phillip Watson Ticket includes a box lunch overlooking the verdant gardens of the Mary Washington House, 1200 Charles Street. The lunch is a delightful opportunity for participants to ask questions of Mr. Watson in a more personal setting. This limited seating ticket is available by separate purchase and is not included in the Lecture Admission Ticket. Participants will travel to this site on their own.
