Washington Heritage Museums is delighted to announce the ninth annual Bourbon and Boxwood event on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 7pm to 10pm at the Mary Washington House in Fredericksburg, VA. Bourbon and Boxwood, the name, hearkens to George Washington’s success as a distiller and Mary Washington’s love of boxwood gardens. Bourbon and Boxwood, the event, is a spirited garden party with live music, plentiful food, drink, and great guests, and an outstanding way to financially support all five Museum properties. Washington Heritage Museums is funded by museum admissions, grants, memberships, sponsorships and donations. WHM does not receive ongoing city, state or federal funding. The organization is truly grateful for all donors and sponsors. Corporate partnership and individual generosity is critical to the success of this event, and ultimately to the preservation of these museums and educational programs.
